July 2011: Ron and Nicole are doing time to raise a dime for a worthy cause. Ron and Nicole have been chosen as volunteer "jailbirds" to serve time in a "mock jail. "Prisoners" are arraigned before a volunteer judge on trumped-up, outlandish charges, such as "reckless golf-cart driving. They are then sentenced to spend an hour in "the slammer" to raise bail in the form of donations to the March of Dimes.

June 2011:

• Team members from Lentz & Mercier, CPAs joined their sister company Ross Wright Accountancy for an Open House & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony attended by the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce, area business owners and clients and chamber members. Beth Mercier, CPA & Managing Principal stated “The Chamber members and community have welcomed us with open arms. We appreciate the support the Boulder City community has shown our firm and look forward to continuing to build long term business relationships with area businesses and their owners. • Sister companies Lentz & Mercier, CPAs and Ross Wright Accountancy participated in the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Business Expo 2011 as an exhibitor at the Chamber function. The event allowed the team members of the two firms to meet other business owners and display their business to fellow Chamber members and the public. See below for pictures from the event.

May 2011: Sister companies Lentz & Mercier, CPAs and Ross Wright Accountancy participated in the Spring Jamboree held by the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce on April 30th and May 1st. Beth Mercier, CPA & Managing Principal of the two firms said "It was a great way for us to participate in a community event alongside our neighbors and get to know others in the community in a relaxed environment". April 2011: Barbara Pope of Lentz & Mercier, CPAs and Ross Wright Accountancy volunteered her time as a Preliminary Judge reviewing and scoring 2 business plans for the 7th annual Donald W. Reynolds Governor's Cup Collegiate Business Plan Competition which was presented by Nevada's Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology. March 2011: Barbara Pope of Lentz & Mercier and Ross Wright Accountancy was one of the many volunteers that painted the Positively Kids clothing donation bins around the valley on March 25th. The bins were being painted bright yellow to bring attention to the bins and the need for clothing donations. February 2011: Barbara Pope and Susan Conte from our affiliate Ross Wright Accountancy in Boulder City had the honor of participating in Job Shadow Day 2011. Barbara and Susan spent half a business day with two young ladies from Boulder City High School to show them the typical day of an Office Manager/Bookkeeper and a VP of Client Relations & Marketing in a CPA firm. The ladies attempted to complete a mock tax return, made phone calls to obtain pricing for advertising, placed PR for the company via the Boulder City Chamber, prospected area businesses and reviewed and made corrections to proofs for advertising and PR before being sent out to the various sources. We thank the ladies for the contributions they made during the work day and look forward to participating in the event next year.

November 2010: Summit Consultancy Group has acquired a firm in Boulder City – Ross Wright Accountancy. We now have another location to serve you! Ross Wright served Boulder City and rural Nevada for 20 years, with this new affiliation Ross Wright Accountancy has become a full service Certified Public Accounting firm. We are excited to be part of the Boulder City community and are honored to continue the relationships the firm has established over the last 20 years. We are happy to announce that Susan Conte, who has been with the firm for over 15 years, will remain as the firms Office Manager and Bookkeeper. August 2010: Lentz & Mercier is growing to accommodate our clients' needs with the addition of a new team member – Nicole Wichman is a recent graduate of UNLV and has joined our team as a Staff Accountant. Nicole is studying to become a Certified Public Accountant.

June 2010: We are proud to announce that Beth Mercier has graduated from the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce's 2010 class of Leadership Las Vegas. Beth found the experience to be very rewarding and provided her an opportunity to meet and work closely with members of the community she may not have met without her participation in Leadership Las Vegas. Beth welcomes her fellow Leadership Las Vegas classmates to keep in contact and feel free to reach out to her if she can be of assistance to them.
